The edition of NITTO GUHO JUNREI KOKI, written by Ennin (794-864), inserted on JHTI is from the Nittō guhō junrei kōki (translation with notes by Adachi Kiroku; additional notes by Shioiri Ryōdō, Tōyō bunko, 157 and 442) published by Heibonsha in 1970 and 1985. Each paragraph of this text, electronically reproduced, is included in JHTI.

The English translation of the NITTO GUHO JUNREI KOKI inserted on JHTI is from Ennin’s Diary: The Record of a Pilgrimage to China in Search of the Law by Edwin O. Reischauer, published by Ronald Press in 1955. Permission to publish this translation electronically was granted by a family member of the late translator to JHTI in February 2012. All rights are reserved by the translator's family. No person or institution is permitted to publish electronically or mechanically any portion of this translation beyond brief quotations or other fair use recognized by international law.
